St. Paul Mayor-elect Her resigns from Minnesota House seat

The incoming mayor of St. Paul, Kaohly Her, has officially submitted her letter of resignation to Gov. Tim Walz from her seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives. It’s effective on Monday, Nov. 17 at 11:59 p.m.

Her held the District 64A seat, which encompasses a swatch of St. Paul from around Highway 280 to West Kellogg Boulevard from west to east and from approximately Interstate 94 to West Saint Clair Avenue from north to south. The map of the district is below.
