St. Paul mayor-elect Kaohly Her officially resigns from her House seat

St. Paul Mayor-elect Kaohly Her has resigned from her seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives as she prepares to assume her new role in January.

Her, a representative from District 64A in St. Paul, was elected earlier this month, beating out incumbent mayor Melvin Carter and two additional challengers after second-choice votes were tabulated.
