Mayor Frey addresses original campaign goal to end homelessness as city invests $14M, adds mix of nearly 250 new units

The City of Minneapolis on Thursday announced the addition of 126 beds in homeless shelters, in addition to 123 new homeless units.

City Council also awarded over $14 million in direct investment and $1.7 million in 10-year federal housing tax credits for 11 affordable housing projects. The money will add or preserve 600 affordable homes.
