(MNN)- Immigrant advocates are outraged over what they call excessive force during a federal operation on the East Side of St. Paul Tuesday. The Immigrant Defense Network says more than 200 neighbors gathered peacefully after reports of ICE and Homeland Security agents surrounding a home. Witnesses report tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber rounds were deployed, injuring several people, including at least one person hospitalized.
