State’s largest school district moves grad ceremonies to U.S. Bank, which comes with a $100,000 price tag

Several Minnesota school districts are still scrambling to find new venues to host graduation ceremonies after the University of Minnesota abruptly announced in October that it would no longer do so at Mariucci Arena.

There are a few other districts announcing they have agreed to rent other spaces, including U.S. Bank and the new Lee and Penny Anderson Arena at St. Thomas University, both of which come with a significant cost increase.
