A 37-year-old man who was convicted as a teenager in his father’s 2004 shooting death is now facing multiple charges after allegedly pointing a firearm at Oakdale officers late last week.
According to a criminal complaint, Dallas T. Wright, of Plymouth, was arrested early Thursday, Dec. 18 after Oakdale police responded to reports of an unwanted person at an apartment building in the 6900 block of 10th Street North.
Officers said Wright fled when they attempted to make contact, running from the building and into a nearby parking lot and roadway before displaying what officers recognized as a firearm with a green laser attached and pointing it toward two officers during the pursuit…
