BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — With less than an hour left before closing on Christmas Eve, the Mall of America was still packed with shoppers racing the clock for last-minute gifts.
Some admitted they waited until the final hours.
“I have no time during the week, and that’s the only time I had to come out and get the last-minute things,” said Jennifer Sarbo, who was shopping on Christmas Eve. Sarbo said the rush is part of the appeal. “It might be the adrenaline rush, the last-minute stuff that you think is good for them.”…
