A man who died of an apparent medical emergency in the Renville County Jail on New Year’s Day has been identified as a 53-year-old from Roseville.
On Thursday, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension identified the inmate as Lee Strother, of Roseville.
Correctional officers found Strother unconscious and unresponsive in his cell at the jail in Olivia, Minnesota, just before 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 1, according to the BCA.
