Recently I have been traveling quite a bit for some reason. And I have gotten the security checkpoint down to a science. I can’t stand beeping or having to empty this, that or the other thing when you go through security. No belts, bling or metal things on anything I’m wearing. Not that I have anything that would be confiscated, but I just don’t want to have to redress anything. So I wear stuff with no pockets, plain shoes, basically no jewelry, etc Easy peasy.

I’m always surprised at the amount of people who try and bring odd and not acceptable things through airport security. Luckily, now they have stopped the remove your shoes policy.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT MSP AIRPORT TSA HAS FOUND

Now, you can bring these things, like if you are going on a hunting trip. There are certain protocols that need to be followed, and you cannot bring them on board with you. They have to be checked. TSA in Minneapolis found two instances of this in one day in June of last year. And they were both loaded!!!
Here are some others.
- Inert Grenades: Found in luggage, highlighting the ban on fake explosives.
- BB Gun: Cleverly concealed in a suitcase lining.
- Naruto Throwing Knives: Found in a carry-on bag.
- Electric Cattle Prods: Hidden inside a guitar case.
- Bear Spray: A common item travelers forget is prohibited
There were also some items that people just seemed t leave behind – sometimes you might wonder how that would happen. And some I would guess would be totally unintentional.
