ICE agents raided the home belonging to a Hmong family in St. Paul and brought out a grandfather – a U.S. citizen – into the frigid Sunday air wearing just underwear, a blanket and a pair of Crocs.
Neighbors recorded the raid on Sunday morning on Case Avenue East and Greenbrier Street on the city’s East Side, with the detained man identified by his sister-in-law via a GoFundMe as ChongLy Scott Thao.
Louansee Moua says ChongLy is a U.S. citizen with no criminal record, and armed ICE agents “broke down the door” of his home without a valid warrant, “pointed guns at the family” and handcuffed the grandfather in front of his 5-year-old grandson, who “woke up crying in fear.”…
