Donations are pouring in for a snocross racer from Foley after he was seriously injured when another snowmobile landed on top of him at a recent event.
Kashton Nelson of Foley was seriously injured during his last race of the night at a snowcross event on Thursday. He was rendered unconscious for 30 seconds following the freak accident, before first responders revived him.
Nelson was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where doctors discovered bleeding around his heart from one of his main arteries. He was then rushed into emergency open-heart surgery…
