Pajarito in St. Paul, which paused operations amid the ICE surge in January, closed permanently over the weekend.
The contemporary Mexican bistro opened in 2016 at the corner of Western Avenue and West 7th Street and later added a second location, which will remain open, at 50th & France in Edina.
“This has not been an easy decision to make, and we are forever grateful for everyone who helped make this place special,” Pajarito’s owners shared on social media Monday.
“Thank you to all the guests, neighbors and friends who have joined us on West Seventh since our opening in 2016,” the announcement reads. “It’s been a joy to share tacos, margaritas & most importantly, countless special moments, laughs, and unforgettable memories over the past decade.”…
