Drivers in St. Paul will face some major closures starting Friday due to planned construction projects.
Eastbound Interstate 94 between Highway 280 and I-35E will close at 10 p.m. Friday and stay closed until Monday at 5 a.m. Drivers will be detoured onto Highway 280 to Highway 36 and then south on 35E.
The eastbound I-94 ramp to 10th Street will also close at 10 a.m. Friday and remain closed until Monday morning. Drivers will use the Fifth Street ramp while crews build a crane for the project.
What is causing this?
