Quaker Steak & Lube, located at 10400 49th Street North in Pinellas Park near Clearwater, announced its closure on social media. General Manager Hillary Smith announced the closure in a social media post.
As the restaurant’s closure was confirmed, customers shared memories of visiting the restaurant over the years. The restaurant did not provide a reason for the decision in the official post.
In the post, Smith reflected on joining the team under owners Bill and Laura Church in August 2009. She also noted that the restaurant will continue hosting its regular weekly events through its final days.
