St. Pete’s Grand Central District never met a holiday it didn’t like, and Independence Day provides yet another reason to celebrate. The neighborhood is hosting a family-friendly, Stars & Stripes Block Party on Saturday, July 4, right off Central Avenue.
The party runs from 12-5 pm, making it the perfect daytime excursion for those skipping the fireworks, or an ideal pre-fireworks celebration for those heading to the waterfront for sundown. Festivities take place on 23rd St. N between Central Ave and 1st Ave. N.
The block party is free to attend and will feature local vendors, community organizations, entertainment, food, and patriotic activities for all ages.
