SPCA Tampa Bay Launches Toy Drive for Shelter Animals in Pinellas County

SPCA Tampa Bay has started a toy and supply drive for dogs, cats, and other animals staying at the Largo campus. The Christmas in July campaign runs through the month and into early August.

Staff want new, unopened toys, treats, and enrichment items. These supplies help animals stay active and engaged while they wait for adoption. Volunteers use them daily.

“Behavioral health is just as important as medical care for the animals we serve,” said Corey Price, Executive Vice President and COO at SPCA Tampa Bay, according to I Love the Burg. “A toy, treat, or enrichment item may seem simple, but these items become part of an animal’s daily routine. They help our team provide comfort, build trust, and give each animal positive moments while they wait for a home.”…
