Places This Week: Home of former tennis champion sells

The St. Pete Beach home of former doubles tennis champion Mike Byron sold Aug. 21 for $2.35 million.

Located at 151 Punta Vista Drive, the 2,182-square-foot residence was built in 1990 and sits on a 0.20-acre Boca Ciega Bay waterfront lot. It was first listed in April for $2.6 million and featured April 10 in The Wall Street Journal’s “House of the Week.”

Bryon and his twin brother, Bob, retired from tennis in 2020 following 16 Grand Slam and 119 ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) titles, and winning the gold medal in men’s doubles at the 2012 London Olympics…
