ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A 37-year-old St. Petersburg man died late Friday night after he was hit by two tractor-trailers on U.S. 301 in Alachua County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the man crashed on U.S. 301 northbound near Southeast 111th Avenue and left his vehicle on the grass shoulder to walk on foot on the highway.
