A vehicle burglary at a Tampa apartment complex began to unravel almost as soon as deputies arrived, helped by a detail more specific than simply how much money was missing.
The victims told Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies the exact amount of cash taken from their vehicle — and the denominations of the missing bills.
