Thieves broke into a Metropolitan Ministries holiday tent site in the Westshore area of Tampa and made off with materials worth an estimated $50,000. The group says the loss could climb that high.
Officials said the thieves took aluminum from the pipe-and-drape equipment and several other items. The site serves as the Hillsborough County holiday tent location.
The materials were meant for all four of the group’s holiday tents in Hillsborough, East Pasco, West Pasco, and Pinellas counties. Metropolitan Ministries filed a report with law enforcement and is helping with the investigation…
