US-19 North in Pinellas reopens after deadly crash

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — US-19 North in Pinellas County has reopened after a deadly crash on Friday, according to the Clearwater Police Department.

Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire Rescue said two people involved in the crash were taken to a nearby hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and the other as a trauma alert following the crash on US-19 North in the area of Seville Boulevard.

Police said on Friday night that a 71-year-old man later died from his injuries.
