TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Part of Adamo Drive in Tampa is blocked Monday morning due to a deadly crash.
The Tampa Police Department said a person was hit by a car near the 4000 block of Adamo Drive around 3 a.m.
The person, who has not been identified, was taken to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
Police officers said the eastbound lanes of Adamo Drive are blocked due to the investigation.
Video from the scene shows a pickup truck with heavy front-end damage.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
