TAMPA (WFLA) — Whisky Riot , a whisky festival featuring hundreds of different types of whisky, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 4-7 p.m. at The Coliseum in St. Petersburg.
General admission tickets for the event are currently on sale at $90 a ticket. General admission tickets come with a souvenir whisky glass that will allow you to try over 200 types of whisky throughout the festival.
Whisky Riots website has a list of recommendations for people attending to have the best possible experience. This list includes:
- Eating a hearty meal before arriving.
- Coordinating rides to and from the venue (Uber and Lyft are encouraged).
- Not pre-gaming the event.
- Pacing yourself throughout the event.
The event is open to all, regardless of people’s experience level with whisky. The event is for “The Whiskey Lover, the Whiskey Curious, the Whiskey Enthusiast, the Whiskey Aficionado, and the Whiskey Rookie,” says the Whisky Riots website.
