CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred earlier this afternoon that left a 16-year-old dead.
Police say the call came in at 4:13 p.m. from the 1200 block of Engman Street regarding a shooting of a teen victim.
The 16-year-old victim died after being taken to Morton Plant Hospital.

Detectives continue to interview witnesses to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
