Motorcyclist seriously injured in Clearwater hit-and-run, police say

CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Wednesday evening in a hit-and-run in Clearwater, according to police.

The crash happened in the area of North Myrtle Avenue and Blanch B. Littlejohn Trail, according to police. A motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, and the other vehicle involved drove away.

The other vehicle involved may have been a gray SUV, police said.

All lanes of Myrtle Avenue are closed for the investigation, police said.
