TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Video released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office shows a masked gunman enter a garage and fire one shot as the homeowner entered his residence.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened on Samuel Ivy Drive in Tampa.
The sheriff’s office is not identifying the victim, but they say they are actively investigating the case.

Dr. Navin Veerapa lives in the neighborhood and said it’s mostly quiet, but is changing now with all the rental properties.
“Very quite, calm. Initially, it was the owners of the houses that lived here and increasingly rentals,” said Veerapa.
Veerapa was shocked when he saw the video of the shooting.
“Pretty terrifying, in the age of parcels being dropped in your garage and garages being open without you being there, which is kind of becoming the norm now, that’s really scary,” said Veerapa.
Jose Hernandez also lives in the neighborhood and said this isn’t the first shooting incident there.
