Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen gives Baker Mayfield a major compliment on live TV

Baker Mayfield had quite the comeback in 2023 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  The veteran QB threw for 4044 yards with 28 touchdowns to 10 interceptions as the Buccaneers claimed the NFC South and won a playoff game.

Part of that success included a number of long touchdowns to Mike Evans, who shared the NFL’s top spot with 13 (along with Tyreek Hill).  Mayfield indeed showed a good touch on deep passes and was able to successfully execute the entire Buccaneer playbook.

Mayfield’s downfield passing caught the attention of a quarterback with one of the strongest arms in the NFL in the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen.  Allen joined FS1’s Speak on Thursday, where he mentioned Mayfield as one of the QB’s with the biggest arms in the league.

“You know who’s got a sneaky-big arm is Bake,” Allen said.  “Baker Mayfield has got a cannon, and I don’t think he gets enough credit for it.”

LeSean McCoy rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair, to which Allen doubled down on his support for the Buccaneers’ 2023 starter.
