The healthcare and medical industries have unfortunately not been immune to layoffs, bankruptcies, or other troubles in the state of Florida.
I’ve recently written about Florida’s Cano Health filing for bankruptcy, the closure of some Optum locations, and the bankruptcy of Akumin Radiology, to name just a few examples.
And now, a Florida-based medical supply manufacturer is closing a location and laying off dozens of employees.

The Warn Notice Announcing Layoffs: According to a Warn letter dated February 5, 2024, the company will begin the layoffs of “fifty employees or less” beginning on April 6, 2024.
