The Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation recently conducted an inspection at the popular fast-food chain, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, specifically at its location at 2337 W Green St in Tampa.
Known for its spicy fried chicken, biscuits, and sides, this Hillsborough County establishment could be considered as a local favorite, drawing in residents and visitors with its flavorful offerings.
However, the inspection on February 23, 2024, resulted in a warning issued to Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits #97, citing a total of seven violations, including two high priority violations.
Despite these findings, the restaurant was not ordered to close and has since met inspection standards during a follow-up visit on March 1, 2024, according to the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation data.
The initial inspection detailed both high priority and basic violations.
Inspectors Note After Inspection:
High priority issues included the presence of live roach activity and improper hot holding temperatures for fried chicken, which were both addressed on-site.
