ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Pinellas County deputies are investigating a shooting that left a man dead on Sunday evening.
Around 5 p.m., deputies responded to a home at 8198 49th Avenue North regarding a person being shot.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
It is unknown what events led up to the shooting.
The sheriff’s office said the incident remains under investigation.
