Showers linger throughout your Saturday

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Isolated showers will move through the area this morning becoming more scattered later this afternoon. By this evening showers will move inland.

Temperatures start out in the low 80s with low 90s expected Saturday afternoon as feels like temps are expected to be over 105 degrees.

Tropical disturbance has 80% chance of development

Showers continue Sunday morning along the coast and eventually move inland as the day goes on. Temperatures again will start out in the low 80s with highs around 90 on Sunday afternoon.

There won’t be much change in our weather on Monday, but Tuesday will feature mainly midday storms lingering into the evening.

Expect fewer storms Wednesday through Friday with scattered showers and storms returning in time for the weekend. Lows will be around 80 degrees and highs will be in the low to mid 90s to finish off the work week.

One disturbance in the Atlantic is following a similar path to Debby but is expected to move north into the western Atlantic several hundred miles east of Florida, but we will continue to monitor this system through next week.
