ST. PETE BEACH – The Historic Preservation Board has given owners of the historic Beach Theatre the green light to begin renovations ahead of a planned March reopening. Since it was closed in 2012, the theater has fallen into disrepair, with a leaking roof causing damage to seats and the interior of the building. The building was declared an historic landmark last year.
