TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)- If you ever find yourself in Seminole Heights, make sure you pop inside this gem for something to eat.
The Seminole Heights General Store opened in 2015 and has been known for its rustic vibes, sandwiches, coffee and baked goods.
This Gem of Tampa Bay is a groovy arts and live music venue
“You get something here you don’t get everywhere else,” Seminole Heights General Store Owner Andrea Cawley said. “Everybody kind of knows you. You walk in and you feel comfortable.”
News Channel 8’s Brianda Villegas was instantly greeted by Misty, the store cat, as soon as she stepped inside.
“She is like my greeter,” Cawley said. “She comes up to people, as long as they like cats, but she’s pretty much in and out.”
By the way, Misty does have an Instagram page.
“We have the same locals that sit out front. They bring their dogs and they just enjoy, yeah, it’s really cool,” Cawley said.
If you would like to visit the Seminole Heights General Store, it is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
