I think that even the most prideful Floridian would concede that New York (particularly Buffalo) is the state most known for its chicken wings. But that doesn’t mean that Florida doesn’t have some chains that specialize in the dish. One example is Florida-based WingHouse. Unfortunately, one location of this chain, in Largo, was recently temporarily shut down after a state inspection.

About WingHouse In Florida: This chain got its start in Florida 30 years ago, and there are currently 19 Florida locations. As the name implies, the restaurant specializes in (and prides itself) on its wings, but you can also get burgers, wraps, fajitas, and pizzas. The waitresses’ garb may mean that some patrons pay as much attention to the servers as the wings.

The location in question, at 7369 Ulmerton Road, has been reviewed over 2,600 times by patrons and earns 4.1 out of 5 stars on Google reviews.
