Tampa, Fla. (WFLA) – Expect a typical summer pattern for today. This means we will start out nice and dry for the first half of the day. There will be plenty of sunshine and temperatures will heat up quickly into the low to mid-90s. Feels like temperatures will be in the triple digits.
Rain chances will increase after 3 pm today with some spotty showers that grow into scattered thunderstorms in the evening. Especially, for our inland and southern counties.
Drier air pushes into our area middle of next week, lowering our rain chances. Expect rain chances to creep back up as we get closer to the weekend.
In the tropics no development is expected for the next 7 days.
