PALMETTO, Fla. (WWSB) – Nearly 28 years after the murder of St. Pete woman in Manatee County, deputies have made an arrest. Manatee County Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives have charged Stephen L. Ford, 72, for the 1996 murder of his former partner Doris A. Korell who was 45 at the time of her death.
