St. Petersburg College will turn 97 this year, and celebrate its anniversary at SPC Day on September 12, at the Seminole Campus, 9200 113th St. N, starting at 10 a.m. SPC Day marks the first day of classes at the College, on September 12, 1927. Since its inception, the school has awarded more than 201,000 credentials and has a $1.2 billion annual impact on the Pinellas County economy, according to a statement.
