Although the opening date hasn’t been confirmed yet, a spokesperson for Whole Foods revealed to the Tampa Business Journal that a Valrico store is “in development.” Additionally, filings with Hillsborough County point to plans for a 38,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market at Lithia Crossing. This location, near a Publix and other popular retailers, is set to occupy a space previously held by Fresh Market, which now sits empty.
