PM showers increase, stays humid Monday

Clouds stick around overnight as conditions stay dry with temperatures dropping to the upper 70s Monday morning. Storms increase a bit early afternoon along the coast, but quickly move east late in the day as highs rise to the low 90s.

Isolated showers and storms continue Tuesday and linger throughout the work week as a front stalls near the Bay Area. Highs next week will rise to the low 90s with lows in the upper 70s.

The front appears to move through Friday which lowers humidity a bit heading into next weekend as rain chances stay at about 30 percent. Lows will be slightly cooler, dropping to the mid 70s with highs staying near 90 degrees.

Gordon has been downgraded to a depression as it continues to move westward with winds of 35 mph.  Gordon will continue to encounter drier air and wind shear and remain a tropical depression for the next few days. Conditions could be conducive for redevelopment back into a tropical storm later this week, but Gordon will eventually move north into cooler waters and not impact any land areas.
