Cheesecake Factory Files Preapplication for New Florida Location

Floridians may soon have a new dining destination as popular chain restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory, has filed pre-application documents for a potential location in Wesley Chapel. Known for its extensive and “legendary” menu, the restaurant could be setting up shop at the Tampa Premium Outlets, offering local residents and visitors another go-to spot for casual dining.

The new Cheesecake Factory, if approved, would cover 7,732 square feet, featuring two dining rooms with a total capacity of 132 diners. However, it’s important to note that the filing is still in the pre-application phase, and not all filings of this nature lead to completed projects.

The Buzz

The prospect of a new Cheesecake Factory is generating buzz because the chain, despite its popularity, has a relatively small footprint in Florida. Currently, there are only about 23 locations throughout the state, out of approximately 200 nationwide. Floridians are eager to see more branches of this beloved eatery, which is famous for its extensive variety of menu items, including unique offerings like a macaroni and cheese burger, flatbread pizzas, tacos, hibachi steak, and, of course, its signature cheesecakes.
