SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – The 8 p.m. Sunday update from the National Hurricane Center has upgraded the chance of development of the disturbance in the Caribbean to 40%. It has doubled since Saturday. There is no chance over two days. The Global Forecast System model shows development later in the week and moving to the northeast. However, the European model is not set on development. There are no other disturbances to watch at this point.
