TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. – Someone else will have to lead Treasure Island through hurricane recovery after the mayor announced his resignation. On Facebook, Mayor Tyler Payne said he didn’t have time to devote to the job and that his family is moving off the island after storms flooded out his house and damaged it beyond repair.
