If you live in Florida, you know that the state’s population has been rapidly increasing. Florida was named as 2022’s fastest growing state and it tied as the fastest growing in 2023. A growing population means that a state needs more services, including healthcare. To that end, Florida’s Riverview has just opened a new “state of the art” hospital that is offering thousands of jobs.
About Riverview’s New AdventHealth Hospital: In 2020, Advent Health purchased a 22 acre site for $3.95 million close to the U.S. 301 corridor. The hospital has been a $263 million capital investment.
The area was chosen because it has a growing and large population. Jason Newmyer, the president and chief executive officer of AdventHealth Riverview, told Fox 13:
“We chose this specific location, because there are 500,000 people that live in about a 25-minute radius of this facility.”
Amenities Of The New Hospital: The design of the new hospital follows a 2012 build in Wesley Chapel that has doubled in size as needs have increased.
