In a coordinated effort with Pinellas County, Treasure Island has partially completed the cleaning and restoration of Sunset Beach following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, according to a recent Instagram post by the City of Treasure Island. Officials stated that contractors screened nearly 40,000 cubic yards of sand, returning it to the beach.
