From writing restaurant articles about Florida eateries for quite some time now, I have come to believe that many embrace restaurants that serve regional favorites that readers miss from their original homes. Florida can be a state of transplants and there are many people from Philadelphia, Chicago, and New York in the Sunshine State. And these folks may be interested in knowing that there’s an eatery that offers a nod to all of these places – Hot Dogs Galore Philly Cheese Steaks & More – and it is expanding into Florida.
About Hot Dogs Galore Philly Cheese Steaks & More: According to its website, this restaurant offers hot dogs, cheesesteaks, and sausages that offer a glimpse of “where Chicago meets Philadelphia with a hint of New York!”
It was originally in New Port Richey (but it is moving) where it earned 5 shaded stars on Yelp. Many applauded that his a family-owned business and the delicious and numerous selections offered. A reviewer named Mark wrote:
“We drove by this place and noticed they were open. Went inside (and) we were delightfully greeted. The menu is really big and there are many different combos to pick from. I had a Philly steak and my wife had an Italian sausage sandwich. Everything came out perfect and delicious. The owner checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was good and if there was anything else we needed. The dining room is spotless and comfortable. Prices are fairly reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. We will definitely be back and if you are in the area please stop in and enjoy a nice meal.”
