St. Petersburg, FL – A 13-year-old 8th-grade student at Azalea Middle School was arrested today after authorities discovered a gun and a kitchen knife in his backpack. According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, there were no threats made to students or the school, either verbally or in writing.
