TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 am for limited visibility across the entire Tampa Bay area.
Once the fog lifts by mid-morning, it’ll be another nice day with partly sunny skies, mild temps, and highs in the mid and upper 70s. A stray shower is possible as a cold front passes through.
The cooler air will slowly move in tonight. Temperatures drop into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees for Friday morning. More sunshine is expected Friday afternoon but it’ll be a slow warm-up with highs in the low 70s.
Another cold front passes through dry Friday night bringing even colder air in for the weekend.
Low temperatures Saturday and Sunday morning will be in the 30s and 40s across the area. High temps only warm into the mid and upper 60s with full sunshine and dry conditions all weekend.
A warming trend will kick off again next week with highs back in the mid-70s for Christmas.
