ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A 12-year-old boy tragically lost his life in an accidental shooting at the James Park Apartments in St. Petersburg on Monday evening. Police responded to reports of a shooting at the apartment complex, located at 1050 3rd Avenue North, just before 6:30 PM on December 23rd. Upon arrival, officers found Jeremiah D. Nelson suffering from a gunshot wound.
