Floridians who live in an older condo are probably aware that the Florida Surfside condo collapse of 2021 led to increased requirements for some condo associations. Examples of these requirements are licensed inspections, reporting, and reserve funds. Because these requirements can be costly and some associations do not have extensive reserves, not all associations were in a rush to complete them.
