ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — It was an emotional day in court Thursday as Jacob Wallace admitted to shooting and killing his 27-year-old girlfriend, Tiffany Dickinson, at their St. Petersburg home.
Wallace pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Those in attendance shed tears as Wallace accepted guilt, with some of Dickinson’s family members watching via Zoom.

According to St. Petersburg police, Wallace shot Dickinson in the head on Jan. 21, 2024, after they got into an argument at the home they shared on Freeport Avenue North.
